Our personal alarms are specially designed for elderly and disabled people and can help you or a loved one live independently for longer. If you or a family member has a long-term health condition, is at risk of a medical emergency, or needs a little extra support to live alone then get in touch. We’ve worked with thousands of families across the UK and operate our own 24-hour monitoring centre. We’re happy to say our personal alarms don’t rely on landlines or the internet, like many of our competitors, but use built-in SIM cards to connect to a monitoring centre which means you won’t be affected by the upcoming changes to the telecoms network when you purchase a SECOM personal alarm.

Care Hub

The Care Hub package combines the freedom of a pendant alarm with the security of a base unit. Care Hub is recommended for people with limited mobility.

Care Hub pendant alarm and in-home alert system

Care Hub is easy to use. At the press of a button, users can raise an alarm with friends and family via the SECOM Care app and send an SOS signal to our fully accredited monitoring centre. If no one in your contact list is available, we’ll speak to you via the base unit to assess your situation. If you’ve fallen, feel unwell or are unable to respond, we’ll contact the emergency services to make sure you receive the support you need.

With Care Hub, she can continue doing all the things she loves, safe in the knowledge that if she suffers a fall or feels unwell she can call for help instantly. Her sleek, discreet personal alarm has a 300-metre signal range, perfect for most homes and gardens.

The Pearl Advanced is a small pendant alarm with the latest fall-detection technology. It can tell if you’ve fallen over and send for help without the user pressing a single button. The alarm has four different settings, a standard mode, an extra sensitive mode, and modes for those with epilepsy and cognitive difficulties, and comes with a clever ‘shake to cancel’ feature that allows users to call off false alarms.

Debra is 60 years old and suffers from epilepsy. She lives alone and worries about suffering a fall if she has a seizure. Her Pearl Advanced uses a six-stage algorithm to detect falls and minimise false activations. If she ever falls over and loses consciousness, her pendant alarm will send for help straight away. We can then work with her contacts and the emergency services to make sure she’s okay.

Care Go

The Care Go is a discreet GPS alarm for wearing at home and outdoors. It features a built-in speakerphone that allows the wearer to speak directly to a member of our monitoring team, and can be used to establish your exact location in case you get lost or need the emergency services.
